This was the first reaction of my dear friend when l shared this sandwich recipe with her. But after tasting, she got truly addicted to this creamy moong dal sandwich. I am very sure you will also enjoy this sandwich..


This moong dal sandwich is prepared with lots of variation in our house. The authentic moong dal sandwich is served with tamarind chutney, spicy cilantro chutney, boiled potatoes and garnished with nylon sev... Today's recipe is the instant modified recipe of moong dal sandwich. 


The days are very gloomy. This recipe is best suited for these lazy days, when you desire to eat spicy and satisfying food which can be prepared in a jiffy. The Moong dal sandwich is best suited for these days..

☑ Ingredients required
♦For Moong Dal


⚫½ cup split yellow moong dal
⚫½ tsp turmeric powder
⚫1 tsp oil /ghee/ butter 
⚫Salt to taste



♦For Sandwich


⚫2 bread bun
⚫1 onion -finely chopped
⚫1 tomato - finely chopped
⚫1tbsp Butter
⚫2Tbsp mango pickle
⚫Makhani Moong Dal




Method
☑ Step1 Cook moong dal 


♨ For dal preparation, please refer this recipe. For mango pickle you can add what is available to you or refer this recipe.

☑ Step 2: Slice bread bun and toast 


♨ Slice bread buns with the help of scissor. Apply butter and toast bread buns slightly.




☑ Step 3 Plating (how to serve)


♨ Take a platter, arrange sliced bread buns, spread the slices with the creamy moong dal. Top with mango pickle masala. Finally garnish with onions, tomatoes and fresh cilantro leaves. Serve it immediately.
