How to make Palak Tawa Fry | Spinach and cashew nuts Stir Fry Recipe | Kaju Palak Tawa Masala Fry

Sharing step by step recipe of Spinach and cashew nuts, which are stir fried in onion and tomato based gravy and flavored with Indian spices. In this recipe spinach is cooked on tawa that is large flat, concave griddle or you can use a large flat fry pan.




Palak Kaju Tawa Fry is one of the most scrumptious, healthy, fast to cook, good to eat recipe of spinach leaves. Spinach is an excellent food which is bundled with various nutrients that help us to keep our body in good shape. Regular use of spinach helps us in maintaining good health as well as possible prevention from various medical conditions.




Spinach is a fantastic source of iron, magnesium, folic acid, vitamin C and K. It is likewise a very good source of vitamins E, B1, B2 and B6. Where as Cashew nuts are packed with antioxidants, protein, minerals and vitamins which enhance body resistance and protects us from various life threatening diseases.




Spinach and Cashewnuts combo is one of the best amalgamation of two healthy foods. As you all know, spinach is an excellent source of Iron. Cashew nut is one food which enhances the utilization of iron in the body. Another important thing for the proper and better assimilation of iron in your body, you need vitamin C. Thus, whenever you cook spinach, add tomatoes in good quantity. This food combo is best suited for bone density, healthy blood flow, enhance calcium absorption, makes nervous system healthy, improve health of teeth and gums, prevents tooth decay and excellent food for glowing beautiful skin and hair.

☑ Ingredients required ⬇

⚫200g/ one bunch of Palak (Spinach) 
⚫4tbsp Kaju (cashew nuts) 
⚫2 Onions, sliced 
⚫3 Tomatoes - roughly chopped 
⚫3 green chillies
⚫1tsp Turmeric powder
⚫Salt to taste
⚫1tsp cooking oil
⚫1tsp cumin seeds
⚫1tbsp ghee (optional) 
⚫1 tbsp pomegranate seeds (optional)  for garnish




✔Cooking Instructions ⬇


☑ STEP 1: MISE EN PLACE - CHOPPING 


♦ Onions - Peel and finely chopped 
♦ Green chillies - Finely chopped 
♦ Spinach: - Cut the stems, wash and finely chop it.


☑ STEP 2 - COOKING TIME


♦Heat oil in a large flat bottomed fry pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.



♦Add onions and green chillies and sauté them on high flame until translucent.



 ♦Add chopped tomatoes and cook on high fire for 2-3 minutes, until water evaporates.





♦Add spinach leaves, blend well and saute it for high flame for 3-5 minutes, until spinach gets cooked nicely.





♦Now add salt and turmeric powder, mix well..



♦ cook it for about 2-3 minutes.






♦Add cashew nuts. Mix well, saute it for high flame for 3-5 minutes. If needed, add very little water and mix. Add 1tbsp ghee, mix well and cook until tender.





♦Turn off the flame and serve hot garnished with pomegranate seeds.
Serve it hot with chappati / naan / roti / phulka whichever option 
 suits you.
