INDIAN VEG AMERICAN CHOP SUEY

How to make Veg American Chop Suey, Indian Veg American Chop Suey recipe with Yippee noodles,  Crispy Fried Noodles served with Tangy, Sweet & Spicy Sauce

Hello Friends,

Today I've got something very delightful and super quick and easy recipe which is made with stir fried veggies and fried noodles.

I believe this is an excellent and must try recipe  for all those who enjoy Indian Chinese Food.. I have deliberately not added Monosodium Glutamate and used only the spice mix available with yippee noodles.

Indian Veg American Chop Suey  is a delightful tantalizing preparation of crispy fried noodles served with stir fried vegetables which are  served with hot sweet, spicy and tangy sauce.

My today's recipe Veg American Chopsuey is modified with an intent to make it healthy, delicious and wholesome..

I'm today sharing Indian Vegetarian Version of American Chopsuey. The authentic recipe of American Chopsuey is completely different from ours.

American Chop Suey is an American pasta dish. It consists of elbow macaroni, ground beef, sauted onions and green peppers cooked in thick tomato base sauce..

Let's get started

☑ Recipe details

⚫Cuisine - Indian
⚫Preparation time 5-10 min
⚫Cooking time 15-20 min
⚫Portion 2

☑ Ingredients required

⚫ 1 pack Noodles  with masala
⚫ ½ carrot
⚫ ½ capsicum
⚫ 1 small size onion
⚫ 1-2 garlic cloves
⚫ 1 small piece ginger
⚫ 2-3 green chillies or as per taste
⚫ 4-5 tbsp tomato ketchup or add as per taste
⚫ ½tsp white pepper powder
⚫ 1tbsp cornflour
⚫1tsp sugar
⚫ Salt to taste
⚫Cooking oil for deep frying and stir frying

☑ Method

✔Part 1  : Noodles Frying Process

◾Boil the water in a saucepan. Let the water bubble. Add noodles and salt to taste, boil for 2-3 minutes.

◾Drain the excess water from the noodles and wash under running tap water.

◾Transfer it into the plate, and at the same time keep aside 1 tbsp in separate bowl for sauce and in the rest of boiled noodles, add cornflour and toss it well and then deep fry them on high flame in small portions.Follow this process on remaining noodles. Keep it aside until called for.

✔Part 2 Vegetable Cutting and sauce preparation

◾Get hold of all the vegetables mentioned above, roughly chop it and then transfer it in a mini chopper or food processor and pulse for 10-15 seconds..

◾Heat the oil in a deep non stick pan, add chopped vegetable and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.

◾Add water as per consistency needed - approximately 200-250 ml and boil on high flame for a min or two.

◾Now mix the cornflour with ½ cup water, mix well and add the cornflour water mixture, masala mix  2tbsp boiled noodles, salt, pepper, tomato ketchup, sugar and saute on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes or till the sauce thickness, keep stirring in between. Our sauce is ready.

☑How to serve it up

◾Serve fried noodles and sauce in different bowls or just before serving, place one part of fried noodles and top it with hot sweet spicy sauce. Garnish it with chopped carrot and pepper. Serve immediately and enjoy!
