Kutti - Punjabi Choori (Sweet Crumbled Indian Flat Bread)

How to make Kutti - Bori | Punjabi Choori | Sindhi Chappati Kutti - Bori Recipe | Sweet Crumbled Indian Flat Bread | Sweet Roti Crumbled | Leftover Chapati Sweet Recipe |Sweet Roti Churma | Wheat Flour Crumbled Sweet Dish Recipe

Hello Friends,

I'm back with one more breakfast recipe. This recipe is dedicated to my dad. As father's day is going to be celebrated on Sunday 19, 2016, so this is the best time to prepare and share all my dad's favorite recipes. Today's recipe is dads one of the most preferred breakfast dish...

Kutti aka Bori aka Punjabi Choori/ Churi is a sweet dish recipe made with crumbled Indian flat bread which is stir fried in butter or in a clarified butter i.e ghee and flavored with cardamom powder and garnished with dry fruits . Churi is a traditional sweet dish of Punjab, whereas Kutti aka Bori is an authentic breakfast recipe from Sindhi Cuisine. Preparation is more or less same except in the Sindhi Kutti recipe fresh chappati is used, whereas Punjabi Choori is prepared from fresh as well as left over chappati ..

Today's recipe is modified version of Sindhi Kutti (Bori).. As a food blogger we always want to add our own touch to make it more interesting and healthy..... Like in today's recipe I've used milk for kneading the chappati dough and used butter instead of ghee..

It is always advisable to use a piping hot chapati for this preparation and technique of crumbling piping hot chapati is very important in this recipe, as after removing piping hot chapati from tawa... fold it and then press it with the help of rolling pin and then use both your palms to crumble them into small pieces. .. As with camera in hand it was not possible for me to apply both my hands so I had torn them into small pieces... But best suited option for this recipe is to use your both palms and crumble it and that will give perfect and even crumbled chapati pieces.

My today's recipe is a healthy version of Kutti. The authentic recipe is prepared from Koki..... Sindhi Koki is a thick flat bread which is prepared with wheat flour and good quantity of ghee is used in this recipe which is called as Mohan... But, the kind of lifestyle we are living.... It's better to use ghee or butter in moderation..

    1. Yes Jolly, you are absolutely right dear, same here.. we also add ghee in this preparation, but I've replaced it with butter... and it worked beautifully in this recipe. And nuts, especially almonds goes in most of our sweet preparations. Thanks Jolly.πŸ˜†πŸ‘
