☑ Ingredients required
▪ 2-3 tbsp / 30-35 grams oats
▪ 1 tbsp boiled peas
▪ 1tbsp finely chopped carrots
▪ 1 small onion
▪ 1 small potato
Or add vegetables according to your taste
▪ 2-3 green chillies or as preferred
▪ ½ lemon juice or as per your taste
▪ 1 tbsp coconut milk powder
▪ ⅓ tsp turmeric powder
▪ 1 tsp red chilli powder
▪ 1 tbsp cooking oil or butter
▪ Salt to taste
✅Step 1 Mise en place
◾Onion - peeled and finely chopped
◾Potato - peeled and finely chopped
◾Carrot - peeled and finely chopped
◾Green chillies - finely chopped
◾Coconut milk powder - soak milk powder in ¼ cup water
☑ Step 2 cooking time
◾Heat oil in a frying pan. Add onion, potato, peas, carrots and green chillies. Stir fry and cook it over medium heat until vegetables are crispy and tender. Just keep stirring in between. Add salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. Mix it all well.
◾ Add one cup water and cook it over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens - cook for about to 3-5 minutes.
◾Add coconut milk and mix it well. Cook for a minute or two. Adjust consistency of soup as per your need.
